A long awaited addition to an evergrowing collection.
This was bought as a 'birthday' gift but has been very well received. It is a very good buy for a fan of the group or otherwise due to the amount of tracks and single 'b' side tracks which have been put on this version.
Many of the tracks have been updated with latest musical influences.
Even a fan of the group has found some tracks never heard before (after 30 years - that's pretty good going!)
It's good to hear the not-so-famous tracks which are never played on the radio stations - but should be!

Cosmetically excellent, but functionally a bit gimmicky.
The crane is certainly well engineered, but is probably over the top if using in a train and non operating.
Personally, I feel that it is unnecessary to have the pistons and cylinders working when the hoist mechanism is used, this is more of a gimmick than a useful function.
The “controls” for the crane are well hidden behind the dummy boiler plates, but are a bit fiddly to replace, the key to operate the hoist and jib functions is well designed, but it is time consuming to fully raise and lower the jib. The max load indicator on the jib is functional, but it is easy for the linkage to go the wrong way and jam up.

A fantastic DVD showing a year in the life of the Great Central Railway.
This DVD shows a year in the life of the Great Central Railway, based in Loughborough. The line runs between Loughborough and Leicester. The DVD shows both the public "face" and behind the scenes. I have been a volunteer at the railway for 29 years, and even I had not seen some of the locations. The DVD covers 90% of the special events during the year.
This is an ideal DVD for the rail enthusiast in the family, full of top class photography which also gives a potted history of this unique line.
