Manual Leather Cobbler Shoe Repair Dual Cotton Nylon Line Hand Sewing Machine

Great machine but needs a little practice to get the best from.

Great machine after cleaning and finishing it. Lots of help on YouTube on how to set it up and adjust it.The instruction manual is almost incomprehensible. Needles provided work well as they are with no need for leather specific needles. The bobbin winder is not much good, but I wound mine by hand with no big problems. Tips; Thead goes under the flat spring in the bobbin holder, only one thread tensioner on the front of the machine is usually enough, never wind the crank anticlockwise just turn the foot in the direction you want, set the needle with its groove 180 degrees from the crank wheel, remove and replace the bobbin with crank at 12 O'clock and bobbin case lip at 3 O'clock, thicker leather needs thicker needles, 130 usually will do, thin bobbin and thick top stitch works well on thick leather 3-4mm thick.

Excellent LED replacement

Fitted into existing bulb holder with no problem, and is considerably brighter than the original halogen bulb. Focuses to a bright, small circle with a faint wide lighter area around it. Only just bought it so unable to comment on durability.
