Cleaner sound, but still old
I can't answer any of those previous questions, because it all depends what you are looking for. There is a good quality recording of this work available, but with singers that I personally (and I admit my tastes are idiosyncratic) don't really like. This recording, with Callas and others, originally from 1951 is a live recording with the usual noises and clapping, but it is a slight improvement on previous 'cleaned up' issues of this same recording. It was not expensive and I am quite glad to have it, but it does still sound old, just slightly less old than other re-issues.

Adapts to fit and functions well
Firstly, it actually adapted to fit my tap! It attaches well, and the hose stays connected and doesn't burst off under pressure. I leave it on my tap permanently because it doesn't interfere with the function of the tap in the washhouse sink - I might not do that if it were in the kitchen. It has made it possible to reach parts of the garden that I couldn't before, without buying a new hose or extending the existing one at more expense. I haven't had it long, so can't assess it's durability, but it is not expensive.
