Specific interest
Well-researched and analytical it gives an overt view of the many expressions of transgender and the possible responses of partners.
It may be some years old but publications in this sphere are rare. A younger generation may have different responses.

Losing a partner
Very few women have been able to publish the journey of their husband's to womanhood and the affects on the children. Men see this as their transition with no regard to the trauma they are causing all around them. It would be very convenient if all concerned would just be happy for them.
Emotions are harder to subject. They are often ordered by what we see and feel and not by what we are told . The author offers her experience.
