great little slow cooker
It's 5 stars in my world, because on low, it cooks at a higher temp than my slow cooker, (simmers food just below boiling,) it slightly caramelizes the food and cooking liquid, high temp brings the food quickly to cooking temp, and with the lid ajar, it reduces the cooking liquid. And it's smallish, so two people get two meals each out of it. A star has to come off because the liner isn't removable for the dishwasher. On the other hand, that feature means a tighter seal between the outer wall and the ceramic liner, minimal energy use and it doesn't heat up the kitchen.

Easy programming, but room temperature display isn't accurate
1 of 1 found this helpful We've only been able to test the MHK1 in heating mode so far. It's easy to program, and lets you set both the heat and cooling for each time period in the day. But, it reads the room temperature about 7 degrees lower than it actually is. It's an inconvenience, but we just set the temp 7 degrees low. It seems to allow a bit wider temperature swing than the remote control that comes with the unit. but still acceptable.
