Works almost too well
2 of 3 found this helpful Got some pink shirts for a work uniform which are bright pink. Thought I'd try and lighten them up a bit so I don't look like such a tit walking around work looking like a prize peacock. Tested it on an old blue shirt first with half a pack which had been washed loads of times, nothing happened. Chucked that shirt and used the other half pack on 1 of the fresh pink shirts. As soon as the shirt hit the water it instantly got rid of the colour. All I wanted to do was lighten up the pink a bit to maybe a pale pink instead of flamingo pink. This has made it exceedingly pale pink to where it is hardly noticeable as pink at all. For me this is a good thing but I'm not sure my boss will agree!
My review is to say this product works exceedingly well on new clothes. If the clothes are old and have been washed loads it probably won't work. All it did was make the armpits yellow where the deodorant had stained them anyway. I will buy another pack and use a tiny amount to try and lighten up another pink shirt.
The pic makes it look more of a cream colour but it is actually exceedingly pale pink now.
