Not quite as pictured, but good product.
The item is slightly different to the picture and has probably been revised. Very handy for small spaces or to be taken camping or In caravan etc, but also how I am using it as an extra dish rack and drying mat as and when needed. Then it’s either slipped under main rack or folded up out of the way. Extremely versatile.

Great ecosystem.
I’m on my second month now of having tado installed throughout my property and am beginning to see savings, admittedly not as much as I’d hoped, but I guess in time... I’ve saved approx 200kw in around 50 days, I say in kilowatts as the prices have increased so much in the last year but in money with British Gas it works out at just over £20. I think it takes time for it to calculate the efficiency of the property and the effects of outside temperature and weather conditions have so I’ll have a better idea in the next 2 months. The app is clean, simple, and intuitive to use, and it integrates brilliantly with Apple HomeKit as one would expect. You have very granular control of heating/water and smart scheduling for individual rooms depending on what you opt for, so it really is fantastic kit. And for all the data junkies out there you can view graphs of each room showing the amount of heat requested from boiler, for how long, with weather impact so it’s rich with information. It’s very easy to become a little obsessive. I would say though to anyone looking to purchase - Avoid the v3+ starter kits; they have a new chip which tado recognises and you are forced to pay for all the things that the owners of other generations have for free. I.e automatic geofencing, open window detection etc..Which if you choose not to subscribe, you merely get a notification that you tap on to immediately activate yourself. This may not be a dealbreaker for everyone and really it’s a minor inconvenience, but those features are what puts tado head and shoulders above all other smart systems and while £25 per year is not a lot, for me it would leave a bitter taste knowing that possibly millions of others are getting this for free, and it was always promised to be as such. It may become worthwhile in the future depending on what new skills they develop for the system, but for now look out for V3 versions. It is only the bridge that needs to be v3, meaning it doesn’t matter if you buy additional v3+ thermostats/radiator thermostats later. Only the starter kit needs be v2 or v3. It is exactly the same hardware on v3 so you are not getting older tech, it’s just they changed their business model very recently and all new products are now fitted with this new authentication/processor which forces you into subscription model if you want all features. Apologies if review is a tad long winded but these are things that many people have not been aware of. All in all a very good system.
