About

I own a small repair business in Wisconsin which specializes in capacitor and LCD repair. And I typically use the Ebay system to sell off any surplus or overstock items that I have within my storage area. Other interests include the gaming business.

great microphone. If you got a pocket Camcorder this is the one.
Great microphone, using it with my Kodak Xi10 camcorder. The only problems it has are the obvious issues with wind and too much noise. But the quality of sound especially during meetings is simply amazing. I didn't get a clip with mine and to be honest I would never use the clip. so whatever. If you want to use this for outside usage. get a fuzzy wind-cap for it so you don't get the distortion of wind hitting the thing.

good laptop, can be faster, memory helps. but for a tech laptop it's ok!
These laptops are super durable. and I upgraded from 1gb to 2gb with the quickness so that i can get windows 7 so actually load properly on here. Also, if you want a little more speed out of the video drivers look up the chipset and go to intels website. download the driver. you can't run the executable right off the bat so instead you just point to the driver in that folder. and like magic your using the latest drivers well past this laptop companies parameters. Wireless is good. and the only weird thing that happens is if your switching between linux and windows it hard-resets only once before continuing. perhaps to reset configuration data? not really sure. The only thing i wish this thing had was an HDMI port. ohh yeah, and if there was a way to remove that annoying verizon logo upon boot-up. thats about it!

Sony PSP GPS receiver
I originally bought this unit because there was a lot of people sitting on YouTube sitting with this product showing it off, and how it converts your PSP into a "TomTom" or "Garmin" like product, with maps and voice support to it. considering a PSP is about $120 new, and the GPS another $50 , $170 for a multi-tool game unit which can also be a GPS is a much better use of money then buying a stand alone product at best buy for $200+ The interesting standpoint on this product is there's almost no support for it officially from Sony in the USA. In fact, since I have what is known as a "PSP-PHAT" (A.K.A. PSP-1001 series) instead of a PSP-SLIM it shouldn't even work at all technically. But it does with the way my PSP is configured The downside to the american wanting to use the GPS receiver is you have to soft-mod (i.e. flashing your psp with dark-alex M33 firmware) to run the free 3rd party software called 'Map-This'. And to any representative from sony reading this: "C'mon guys! Have you seen all of the GPS units at an american Best Buy store? Americans would love it if you had an official map program! get on the ball and make it official so that you can broaden your customer base past the hacker market here. I don't like voiding my warranty just to make my PSP a multitool. and I'm sure you don't like people voiding warranties either." In a nutshell Advantage: your gaming system (and on SLIM skype VoIP system) is now a GPS system. YAY! Disadvantage: Flashing your PSP with 3rd party code made by a guy in spain in the hopes of not 'bricking' your PSP and voiding your warranty. BOO! usability: The GPS receiver itself has a rather weak signal going for it like all small GPS units. depending if you have an old car or a new car will depend how well it works. On a new card like a Chrysler Pacifica it's so very well insulated and the windows tinted, microwave emissions have a hard time passing through, I have to keep my psp on the dash or it dosen't work. In a 1995 chevy corsica, I can leave it anywhere and it works no problem. so your results may very from car to car. Overall, i'm satisfied
