Works well, tested at full load of 2000W for 30mins, didn't get hot at all, just warm. Terminal bolts too short for supplied double 100A cables.

Works well, was used to repair sagging caravan sandwich floor. Glue expansion not excessive, just enough for this job. Glue leftovers get very hard once settled, easy to remove with knife and sanding.

Buy 5 of those for 1 Yamaha or Honda
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought it on promotional discount at $327 incl. delivery, that's a genuine bargain in anyones book. Have a Fuji 3.7 kW genni also, but too heavy for caravanning, therefore have been looking for something in the 2kW bracket.
Filled in oil and fuel, pulled a few times and off it went. Left it in Economy mode while testing several power hungry items in our caravan. Had 3-way fridge (100W) turned to max cooling, in van battery charger was pumping some 18 amps into battery, then turned on Truma roof air-con. Started compressor just fine, could hear the revs go up on generator to cater for extra power demand. Another thing of importance for us is to be able to run the 800W microwave for a while (ours draws around 1200W). Tested this with fridge and charger running but without air-con, again passed test with flying colours.
Lastly I brought out the Aldi Nespressi machine (1550W), and with fridge and charger running again (no other appliances) I brewed a cup of coffee - generator went up and down in revs as the coffee machine demanded more or less power during heat-up and brewing, and the coffee was ready!
This was a test within the first 15 minutes of running in the generator - it passed all the tests which are relevant to us, and I am sure, had Economy mode been turned off, if would have churned away at steady elevated revs, but it seems to cope well with all appliance loads even in Economy mode.
Summary: buy this one, and if it breaks down, get another one and keep the old one for spares. Yamaha and Hondas are not five times better, but five times the price!
