Great value, does what it says on the tin!
Has the look and feel of a properly engineered quality product at a budget price. I had no problems fitting it to a variety of centronics cables and it functioned without problems. Exactly what I needed.

Excellent to add non volatile RAM to a vintage microcomputer from 1980
I have added 52k of battery backed CMOS RAM to my 1980 vintage Microtan 65 computer. I have used the battery backing to allow me to replace EPROMS with RAM so I can load system software into my old computer (eg BASIC or an Assembler FORTH) and then have it resident in non volatile RAM. The IC is easy to fit and configure and so far the MICROSOFT BASIC I loaded over a week ago is still perfect even though the computer has been powered down for long periods. A real winner

Fixed my Alinco DX70 transceiver
Used to repair the multifunction control on an Alinco DX70 radio and worked fine. I had to shorten the shaft slightly to match the original encoder but that was no problem.
