Hugely enjoyable.
Have thoroughly emjoyed reading this book, the first in the series, which now has sadly ended, though I expect Lemony Snicket will be glad of a rest from these truly awful happenings. The children you do care about, and the baddies are so pantomime-like that you really cannot hate them too much. The drawings by Brett Helquist add a lot to the overall picture in your mind and I wish there had been a few more. I would recommend this book to anyone, no matter you age. After all, a lot of children,s books are preferable to adult ones!!Thank you Mr Snicket, you have entertained me for quite a few years.

Rat catcher
0 of 1 found this helpful Not a very good item. Instructions were so faded you could not read them. Took me ages to find a site on the internet to help me. Have yet to fully figure it out. The rat will know more than me!
