Cbr1100xx rad alternative
The Honda replacement is ridiculously expensive So I look for an alternative These ones are shipped directly from China there is no eu stock They take about 2 weeks to arrive The packing is good and no damage They are water tight They fit fairly well They are a little wider and much thicker than the original The bigger thickness means that the clearance to the frame is reduced and the plastic air dam needs to be trimmed as it will not fit If trimmed it can fit The hanger eyelets are correctly placed The fan attachment feet needed some correction The hose fittings are ok and in the right places The cooling effect is superior than the original due to the greater thickness So apart from the fouling of the air dam it's totally ok note there are 2 models Early bikes use the one with 4 fan feet and later 3 feet They are not really interchangeable
