Just a clean is all that's needed and a new back which I will make so it's an easy restoration. This radio used a 9v Ever Ready pp10 with a socket on which I have already rebuilt and I have spare battery plugs to. Thank you so much for this.   Oh my. How silly can you get!? Packing a FRAGILE and RARE lamp base in a few bits of mangled cardboard and a Jiffy bag. This is awful. Totally smashed beyond repair… 70 odd years old and fit for the bin. I’ve literally cried. The only colour I needed to complete my collection. It’s not even the curriers fault as it’s completely packed incorrectly, just shoved in a Jiffy bag. Seller should know better hence the negative. That and one very disappointed eBay buyer.
