Great product for Price

I very much like the "erase" function of Vuescan and the HP 6055e scanner/printer for removal of unwanted marks/scratches/stains on old photographs or old diagrams. This capability is important to me as an author of historical books. It almost totally offsets my displeasure with the size/capacity of the tricolor cartridge (HP67XXL). if any one of the 3 colors (R, Y, Blue) runs out (which it does too frequently with my type of use), the entire cartridge must be replaced - wasting remaining ink for 2 other colors and at not insignificant cost. This printer has many "pros" and a few "cons" but in the net is a great value for the price.

An advancement in photo paper

The photo surface of the paper is outstanding quality. The thinner weight of the paper is a plus - the thicker photo paper was causing jams in my inkjet printer.
