Shoe Repair Glue
Works well for sticking on replacement soles and heels. Make sure the surfaces are well roughened and clean, for good adhesion.

Surface Finish Unsuitable
Although the wok ring exactly matches my new Bosch Glass Gas Hob pan-support-grid, and looks great, it`s slippery enamelled surface results in the wok unexpectedly sliding/ tipping alarmingly. I much prefer, now use and recommend the cast-iron wok ring from this company, which being robust and having a naturally rough surface finish, keeps the wok beautifully horizontal and stable on the hob.
I have hacksawed the support arms off the "enamelled2 wok ring, and now use it to enhance the front (left/right corners) of my Bosch pan-support-grid, which lacks pan support in these areas and there is a tendency for saucepans to slide off the corners unless they are precisely placed on the centre of the chosen burner.
