The perfect workhorse stove...
2 of 2 found this helpful This thing is made to last. There are 50 year models still running perfectly. I don’t know why Coleman stopped making these. You should get them while you can. It seems this is a trend among several kit makers... forsaking tried and true equipment for the allure of more gains with cheaper materials... I hope I am wrong... I have purchased several of these.

Quintessential soviet tech!
Definitely recommend these icons of an era! In expensive, indestructible, actually useful. Have one in every vehicle we drive. Easily sharpened. I need to make a kydex sheath for it though. Easily cuts through aspen saplings and with a few hacks, even larger trees. I would value this one over the Cold Steel version since this is an actual piece of history.
