A delightful and profound satire on 20th century Czechoslovak life
Unlike the many moving but harrowing true personal stories coming out of Czechoslovakia (including those of my own family) this takes the arguments onto a higher level by ridiculing the dictatorships and pointing to traits and values of human behaviour applicable to any time, with the brilliant use of fiction.
It includes poignant stories of hope, ambition, success, failure, joy and pain, human strength and weakness - a truly universal story. A compelling, witty, compelling and masterful read.

Best ever!
It works! It is fast, taking only a few seconds, owing to its five wide blades, and it makes a superb smooth job. I compare it to my old common rotary which has a very small contact area and low speed - totally useless. I should have got this a long time ago, instead of looking like a tramp...
