Better than plastic!
If you have an old bike, then get some of these for the added safety, they will not fracture like the old plastic ferrules. Old plastic becomes brittle eventually and then you loose your brakes just when you need them!

Good looking, good value.
This is a good quality seat that looks for all the world like a posh leather one. Finished off my bike build supper.

Good for vintage bikes.
Very strong, easy to make a neat job and easy to remove when you make a mess of it and try again.
