Unusable
Very badly made, I'm afraid - the parts don't even fit together.

Fall out of your ears
0 of 1 found this helpful I’ve used similar SoundMagic models for years – the reason I have to keep replacing them is that I wear them in the gym and, as I move about, sooner or later the wire connecting the phones to the jack catches on something and gets broken. That’s not their fault – it could happen with any phones.
However, this version marks a change from previous ones in that the phones have a kind of angled moulding, making them larger and heavier than the older style, which means they have a tendency to keep slipping out of your ears. I don’t know what the purpose of the extra moulding is – they don’t sound any different from earlier, more compact ones.
Anyway, the manufacturer has clearly recognised the problem, as this version comes with big plastic hooks which curve around behind your ears, designed to stop them falling out. Unfortunately, it doesn't work; they come away from your ear, and then their additional weight makes them fall out even more. Believe me, you will tire of re-attaching them to your ears, again and again, sooner or later.
There’s another really serious problem. These phones are actually capable of producing an extraordinarily good sound – but this depends ENTIRELY on the seal between the rubber “buds” and your ear canal. The most microscopic gap, even that can’t be seen or felt, and all bass completely disappears, leaving you with a nasty, thin, tinny sound. And this WILL happen, all the time, because of the problem outlined above.
Because of the importance of achieving a seal, you get a selection of different sized buds. And unfortunately, with this model, they have discontinued the size which fits my ears. Luckily, I was able to rescue the buds from my old phones. Unless you're able to do this too, and if you have slightly larger ear canals (we’re talking fractions of a millimetre here), you won’t get a good sound, ever.
Not recommended.

No good for nasal hair
5 of 7 found this helpful The nasal hair attachment isn't as shown in this picture - it's a kind of flat (rather than circular) thing, which doesn't work at all well. Useless.
