Decent value-for-money chip
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a decent chip as far as value for money, as although it has a lower clock speed than a Pentium 4 it features a newer architecture, more cache and is dual core, making for a decent processor. Currently using mine on a Debian server running Plex and two Minecraft servers simultaneously, as its the fastest chip available for my Mobo (taken from an old eMachines build). Was pleasantly surprised by the boost it gave over the old chip and haven't had a single problem since install, temps usually stay around 45°C in my reused case (Dell Dimension 1100) with a stock cooler, so pretty much what you'd expect from an Intel chip
Couldn't be happier for the price!
