Perfect for our needs

It was exactly what my son needed! Talk and text phone with a touch screen (so he’s not completely uncool). When I took it to Verizon for activation it took 2 manager overrides, linking it to one of their old phones (trickery), and being on hold with corporate for 30 minutes. The description said it can be activated up until 12/31/18 but they said it actually went into effect in July. They are completely getting rid of 3G by the end of 2019. So they don’t want to deal with 3G phones at all. It took over an hour total but it was worth it to me. I can rest easy knowing I can contact my son and he won’t be on any inappropriate websites (also able to block all internet access). My son thought he was too cool for this phone but now that he’s figured it out. He likes it...a lot!
