Light in weight and versatile
Well made and nicely finished, looks as though it will give years of reliable and useful service in the kitchen. A versatile addition to any kitchen that performs very well in practice.

Rare, hard to find
Being a rare and hard to find model it's an acceptable addition to my collection and completes the set of 6 A4's; however it is not as well detailed as some of the later re-tooled models in the series, due to being an earlier tooling. It demonstrates clearly the more exact fine details of the later issues.

Excellent product
Founded in 1761, Faber-Castell know a thing or two about the manufacture of high quality pencils. They are made with great care and attention to every small detail and come in a smart matching green metal pencil case. The pencils will withstand being dropped from a height of 25 meters on to a hard surface without breaking the graphite core, so they should stand up to the hardest use and abuse.
