Wonderful instrument!
1 of 1 found this helpful Before this purchase, I made the mistake of buying a cheap bass recorder and hated it. The Aulos, by contrast has a wonderful tone and is very responsive throughout two and a half octaves. I was immediately able to play advanced alto recorder sonatas on this bass. The key action is light, unlike the cheap bass which cramped my hands. In fact, I'm barely aware that I'm pressing keys. Despite its' size, it has a comfortable feel. With the cheap bass, I was always aware of the stiff keys and slightly awkward finger position. This instrument is a delight and compares very favorably with a Dolmetsch I played some years ago.

Classic Computer Book
For those who don't remember the earliest days of personal computers, this book is one of the best possible ways to learn about what it was like to use a word processor without a mouse or a "ribbon". For those of us who do remember those days, it is a very nostalgic look back at some of the pioneer word processing packages. It is quite amazing to see/remember what could be done on an 8 bit computer with 64K of RAM.

Spend your money elsewhere
Four out of four cartridges leaked during preparation. Made a mess of me and my workspace. They worked once in place but a portion of their useful life went into paper towels. Not pleased.
