Purse spray
This is great for nights out, weekends and holidays. The set contains a silver tube like purse spray with 2 refills. It does not however look like the photo. There are no tops to the refills as shown. So, it’s good and practical, but not good value.

Great value, good quality telescope
2 of 2 found this helpful This telescope is good value, well built and reasonably easy to set up. It is heavy enough to reduce vibration but light enough to make it completely portable. The two lenses supplied are of good quality,
You will need a little patience setting up the “red dot” finder scope but once done larger objects like planets and constellations are easily viewed. I have immediately bought a 2x Barlow lens and a moon filter, it is a pity Skywatcher don’t include these as they would make the first experience so much better.
The main drawback of this extending design is the fact that any light pollution from nearby street lights etc makes highly magnified viewing impossible as the mirror is effectively open to the environment. It’s a compromise worth making if you view dark skies but will detract from your viewing if you live in a town.
On the whole I am happy with the telescope for its price.

Great value, stunning photographs. A dream in book form.
1 of 1 found this helpful Having admired Lalique glass for many years I actually bought a piece in February for my 50th birthday. I aspire to owning more pieces so being familiar with Eric Knowles from the Antiques Roadshow decided to buy this book.
It is indeed a beautifully written and illustrated book and details the history and biography of Rene Lalique and his family who have continued the business. The detailed photographs of the pieces are superb.
However, the downside is that this book concentrates on the unnattainable. The jewellery and glass are all of the "top end" and will be be too expensive for the average person to buy. Although the more mass produced items are mentioned they do not seem worthy of detailed description or photographs.
I have several other books about Lalique and this is indeed the best presented. So, if you are a serious and wealthy collector this is the book for you. If you just want to dream of what you may one day own, this is the book for you too. However, for the average man in the street aspiring to collect Lalique, the book may just put you off.
