Excellent track-block selectors for model railroads

I use them as track block selector switches: Center = track block Off Left = track block on controller #1 Right = track block on controller #2 Works great.

Great indicator lights for model railroads

I am using 5 versions of these 12V LEDs as indicators on the control panel of my model railroad (red & green for the direction setting of turnouts; yellow to indicate active/inactive track blocks; white and orange for illumination). Since they come pre-wired, with current-limiting resistor already soldered in series, they can be driven with 12V DC directly from the separate regulated DC power supply that I use - instead of the mostly used AC - for much quieter operation of my turnouts. A very convenient and low-cost improvement.
