Good value and build quality
This is a well built machine which is easy to manoeuvre and transport with the aid of its included wheel attachment. The handle is well damped to minimise vibrations for the operator and it folds for easy storage. Another thoughtful benefit is the provision of a fitted flexible tube for draining the engine oil. The machine comes with well illustrated hand books for the compactor and engine. I will only be using my Hyundai occasionally for various projects and maintenance around my 3 acre garden but I am sure it could handle more frequent use. I was also reassured by the 3 year manufacturers warranty.

Real time saver
Made from heavier gauge steel than I had imagined with a good quality orange paint finish. You will need to supply the base timber 100x100x about 1200. 25mm and 30mm drill bits are provided but you will need an electric drill. Unit easily holds 20/25 50/60mm diameter logs which you can turn into 100/125 300mm logs with 5 cuts in about 2 minutes!

Useful small planer which can be used with one hand.
I bought this planer to replace one that is almost identical to another I purchased from B&Q under their Macalister brand about 8 years ago. It does not come with a case and unfortunately it will not quite fit my Macalister case. However, the unit is well built and I am used to the double safety which some reviews say is awkward. My only gripe is that on first use the planer did not cut evenly because the blade heights had not been set up correctly during manufacture.This necessitated spending about 15 minutes removing the red paint on each of the height adjustment grub screws in order to adjust them with the Alan key.
