Iconic military aircraft from the back seat!
An excellent read focused on aircraft the author has flown in, mostly classic British types including many now out of service such as Buccaneer, Jaguar, Phantom and Tornado. Much background to the aircraft's use and capability and very readable. Good selection of illustrations.

Covers RFAs and Auxiliaries and from different angles, really good for modellers.
Concise text full of facts and vital statistics. Brilliant.

Features the Golden Age of the UK aircraft industry when we could design and build a bewildering range of civil and military aircraft and had a vibrant export trade featuring types like the Dove, Viscount, Canberra, Hunter, Meteor and Vampire. Lovely illustrations, concise text and some good cutaways. Brilliant.
