Does what it's meant to --but--

It is fine once it's set up, but I was completely unable to find or open the battery compartment. My husband was able to do it eventually, but only with the aid of a penknife. Once the batteries were in it was very difficult to close.

Brilliant! I've only used it for peeling potatoes and carrots so far , but it's so much easier than any peeler I've had before.
