When a fraction of a second is the difference between being a victim or a survivor.
The Glock Extended Slide Stop Release is a "must have" if you believe that your firearm might make the difference between becoming a statistic of crime or violence, or saving your life or the life of a family member or loved one. The world has become a much more violent place to live, and many concerned citizens have decided to own a handgun with or without a concealed carry license to protect themselves from those individuals who have lost their sanctity for human life. It's a sad statement, but a true statement nonetheless. This Glock Extended Slide Stop Release gives the concerned "good guy" a distinct advantage over the more flat and harder to manipulate non-extended release. What does this part do? Simply, after you have emptied your magazine of rounds, the slide stop release locks open the breach of the firearm. It prepares the Glock to be reloaded with a fresh magazine of rounds into the bottom of the receiver of the weapon. In order to put your Glock back into "battery" (ready to fire with a live round in the chamber), you need to use your thumb to push down on the slide stop release to allow the weapon's slide to move forward and at the same time, take the first round from your newly installed magazine, place it into the breach of the gun's barrel, lock up the action of the firearm and make it ready to fire again if necessary. While the stock non-extended slide stop release works fine most of the time, in a situation where you are under extreme duress.....have loss of fine motor skills.....and are sweaty and shaking.......the extended slide stop release provides an extra tab which makes the operation of the slide much more effective, and can save fractions of a second that can be the difference between effectively defending yourself, or becoming a victim at the hands of a thug. I have installed the Extended Slide Stop Release on all of my Glock firearms, and can attest that in self-conducted drills.......the extended release is much more easily found and can be actuated appreciably faster than the non-extended version of the release. It's my honest opinion that Glock should include this extended slide release as a standard item on their handguns. For those of you familiar with the magazine release on the Glock generation 3 handguns....many people found that the release was hard to reach with their thumb, resulting in precious time to drop and reload the gun with a fresh magazine. So, when Glock introduced the generation 4 series of handguns, they were shipped with a new, slightly more extended, and somewhat larger magazine release to address the issues found on the previous generations of Glocks. Folks, for the average price of about $14.00, I can whole heartedly recommend upgrading your stock slide release with the extended version. It will give you a better sense of security, and will with practice, vastly improve your time to reload your Glock with a fresh magazine, and get it into battery if needed to continue measures of self defense. The part is very easy to swap-out with the original release, and really doesn't require the services of a gunsmith to get it installed quickly and accurately. Go to YouTube, and you'll find many easy to follow, step by step sets of directions to swap your slide release. I know that in many cases, especially these days with rising costs and expenses, a gun owner can be pressed to spend more money on a weapon. I believe that an individual should purchase the best firearm that they can afford. If you already have the Glock, and money may be tight, brown bag your lunch for a day or two, and take the money saved to secure this part for your weapon. Remember, the reason that you purchased a firearm was to protect yourself and your loved ones......go that extra little step and invest in this superior replacement part to make yourself an even better protector of yourself and your family. RAY BAN ROCKS!!

I have been wearing Ray Ban Aviator Sunglasses for almost 30 years.....way back when they were made in America by Bausch & Lomb!!! In my honest opinion, I believe that these glasses, regardless of the frame color, are the best produced sunglasses in the world. Originally designed for U.S. Fighter Pilots, these glasses were carefully formulated regarding their unique "tear drop" lense shape, the easy to remove temples, the awesome crystal lenses, and the light weight of the frames. Pilots faced constant problems with the blinding rays of the sun, and when you are flying to defeat the enemy and want to come back to base alive.....you need something to help with the vision problems created by the sun. The style, shape, and lenses have not changed since their inception in the late 1930's. If something has not been outmatched, or revamped.....you can count on the fact that you can't improve on the best!! These Ray Ban Aviator Sunglasses are perfect for driving, flying, walking around, or just "looking good" on the beach or on the slopes skiing. Folks sometimes say that the price of these glasses is "too high", but think about this.........How many "cheap" pairs of sunglasses have you purchased over the last few years......only to find them inadequate to protect your eyes, and/or have them fall apart not long after purchase??? If you add up the dollars.....you could have bought a pair of Ray Ban Aviator's. Not only do they look great, but they block 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays that can damage your eyes, provide clear and superior vision on the brightest of days, and are made so well that they will.....if taken care of properly....last for many, many years!!! I have pairs that are more than 10 years old, and they function just as well now as they did when I purchased them. I can't recommend these sunglasses highly enough. Treat yourself to a pair of time-tested superior sunglasses from Ray Ban. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed in the least!! In fact, once you put them on, you'll wonder why you didn't purchase them years ago!!!! These are truly the "best of the best"!!! Buy a pair and enjoy the pleasure of wearing an ironically designed and amazingly functional pair of sunglasses!!!!

What a difference!!
3 of 3 found this helpful This factory front sight for Ruger's GP100 makes a world of difference in acquiring a rapid and accurate on target picture. The front sight that comes with the GP100 from the factory is plain flat black, while the rear sight has a white outlined notch. In all but perfect lighting conditions, these sights are adequate at best. Changing the front sight to this OEM red ramp version makes it easier and faster to establish a spot-on alignment of your firearm to the target. The added red ramp provides the needed contrast lacking in the stock sights, and immediately draws your eyes to get on target at least 75 percent faster. This relatively inexpensive and easy to install front sight is a must for your GP100 from Ruger! Total time to remove the original front sight and replace it with this factory upgrade is literally less than 30 seconds, and only requires a punch to depress the front sight retention spring. This front sight swap-out is a no-brainer, and will immediately improve your marksmanship!! In my honest opinion, the red ramp front sight should be standard on the Ruger GP100 straight from the factory. Don't hesitate to purchase this item. You will be extremely satisfied with this essential sight upgrade!!!! My very best regards to all, Marna K.
