Invokes the Christmas spirit in all of us!
Nina Weinman wrote an extremely cute story that is sure to become a classic over time! It has definitely become one of our "must watch" Christmas movies every year. Just like with most other Hallmark Christmas movies, it's easy to see what's coming, but it's an easy, relaxing movie to watch with likable characters.

Not what I was expecting
I wanted to read the book after I saw that Robert Redford and Jane Fonda were doing a movie about it, but it just wasn't the ending that I expected or wanted, so I felt sad that I'd read it and now not sure if I'd see the movie. It's a very quick read - I DO like the way author wrote it, just like the people talking to each other. Perhaps if you don't have a preconceived notion of what you want it to be, you might enjoy it. He seems to get decent reviews on his publications.
