Outstanduing value
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought this Circular Saw to replace a Bosch mains powered unit that finally bit the dust; the freedom of having no cable either in the way or restricting you on long cuts is awesome.
This new DeWalt unit is lightweight, has superb build quality and is simply a pleasure to use.
There is no kick when it starts (seems to have a counterbalance), and it has a blade brake, so the second you release the trigger, the blade stops dead. I've been able to make some really accurate cuts with it thanks to the balance and lack of kick when it starts and the fact that the blade is only 2mm thick. * Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Very good value
A little disappointed about the quality - it's put together well and works fine, but seems a little cheap in the hand and rattles a lot as the trackball is quite lose in the top. For the money, its well worth it and is a great device, but I would have paid more for a slightly heavier and more robust version if it was out there.

Outstanding piece of kit
1 of 1 found this helpful First one of these I'd ever installed and after reading through the technical installation instructions, I thought I was in for a bit of a nightmare trying to flash it, install it, uninstall it to flash (or KLON) it again - this was never going to work, surely?!
Flawless. The whole process worked flawlessly - I'm so very impressed by this little piece of technology that I can't rate it highly enough. Well built, well designed and does exactly what it promises.
I'm 'reasonably good' with cars and electrics, but I'm not technical by profession, I'm a Customer Services Manager, so could easily have been way out of my depth here... It took me 45 minutes to install (and that includes the programming); fantastic..!
