No safety shut off and that’s a good thing.

I know some fryers have a 20 minute shut off. This fryer does not. I think that’s a good thing as you don’t have to worry about it shutting down and relighting every 20 minutes. I don’t leave my fryer unattended so not a safety concern. I mean my stove and BBQ grill don’t shut off every 20 minutes so why should a fryer.

Seems to work well. The forks come in almost a V shape. I bent mine to more of a U shape.
