Seems to be too cheap to be any good, but actually it's excellent.

I've now got two of these simmering rings. Quite simply they do the job, well. They may not be exactly pretty, after a few months of use they develop the patina you'd expect from something that gets repeatedly stuck on top of a hot flame, but they do their job effectively, simply and cheaply. If you're after pretty shiny kitchen gadgets, move along and expect to pay a lot more. If you just want something that works well, this is your choice.

HP BR367AA#ABB 2.0 Multimedia desktop Speakers

For VERY cheap speakers you get more than your money's worth.

These speakers are nothing special but equally there's nothing wrong with them. If you lower your expectations to fit the price then you're in for a very nice surprise as you'll get a lot more than you paid for. Fit and finish are flawless, and sound quality is excellent for the price point. Only downside is there's a very prominent and bright blue LED on the front that is on all the time - it gets annoying in dim lighting or the dark. I slapped a bit of tape over the LED on mine. Installation is trivial - plug them in and go.
