Flimsy Sorry.
No strength to this unit and as such I could not recommend it to stand on its own without securing it to Posts or using it in a very sheltered place it fell apart over night.

Very Attractive Lamp, needs a small E S type Bulb which fits.
1 of 1 found this helpful Providing you can obtain a small E S Bulb which is perhaps tinted buff color the large standard Light Bulb does push on the back of the unit forcing it forward not good then Go for it I am still trying to find one which suits if the company can supply then I will modify my comment.

Near the bottom end on price but good value for money hi power batts reqd

1 The size of screen better
2 Images Better but not by much.
3 Close ups a lot bettter thats if you want to e-bay a small Item
4 Negative side battery drain is a bit more due to size of screen I have been informed A A 2 OFF NEEDS HI POWER ONES
5 Slight problem on bright days where the Vivitar has a View-finder.
6 If another time go for the Cameras that have a High Capacity Battery with Charger Supplied.
7 If dealing with Maplins beforwarned there is a restocking fee of 20% Minimum £10 of which is on the back of there invoice (along with a free post returns label) thats on goods not wanted / and not faulty ones (thats the restocking fee on not wanted ) I will next time if poss deal with Amazon Direct seems the customer is better protected allthough Pay Pal may entertain a claim if you are not totally satisfied.
8 I would have to be very dissapointed to send it back to do so would cost me along with restocking fee.
9 Sound out all b4 purchase is the best way and spend a bit more than I did.
