Very listenable sound
2 of 2 found this helpful I've been using this for about three weeks now. The sound is what I like - a little restrained, not 'shouty' or in your face. I have heard clearer and more defined bass in the past but at this price that's a trade off for the very listenable sound. The sense of scale through speakers and headphones is large, there is weight to the sound, and acoustic music has a level of reality which is absent in some amps of this price. I'm a classical/jazz/acoustic listener though. If you like sound which emphasizes clarity, edge, and attack then I'd look elsewhere. Build is a bit plasticy for its original £500 asking price, but I didn't pay that.

Not so great.
Many of the animals have legs that do not support them properly. They are 'turned in' and the toys fall over.
