Small, good quality, wiring space very tight.
A compact unit, but better quality than expected. The wall plate is solid cast metal, not the usual pressed steel, giving a solid feel. Space for wiring behind is very limited, so patience (and not much wire) needed here.

A quality bulb, but...
+130% suggests it will be twice as bright as an 'ordinary' bulb, but in practice I'd say my real-world experience of it is about +10% compared to my outgoing bulbs that were the ones that were factory fitted when the car was new - ok, it's a bit better, but only a bit. I can't give a review on how long they last as only just fitted but if they last well then they would represent ok value.

Easy to install
Quick and easy to install, set up and operate. Useful factory preset times and temperatures means it starts working straight away, but you can easily change these if you want to. Wireless operation means easy to site in a convenient place, or even just freestanding (it has a little clip so you can stand it up on a flat surface). Brilliant for cold nights where you want the heating to stay on overnight, but at a lower temperature setting than the daytime. TIP: if your ideal logic boiler already has a mechanical time clock installed (as mine did), then you don't need the 'kit' because you can just re-use the cover plate and wiring loom - just buy the controller and receiver unit, saves about £13.
