This brand is top notch
This brand is top notch, no doubt about that. Among the very best in the class. Still, the real life appearance turned out to be not exactly the same as in the pictures where one got the impression that it shone like chrome. The tip(s) does not meet up like on my Knipex Stork Beak Pliers (26 22 200), but all in all I think these double hinged pliers are way ahead of It's "clones" out there.

STAHLWILLE I choose.
Four stars because perfection does not exist in reality. All though there might be a somewhat better substitute for this Stahlwille combination spanner somewhere in the world I won't regret the choice of this one. I would NOT choose a glossy overpriced "American" brand instead of this. At a fair price Stahlwille really delivers on quality and design. The details are amazing. Precise and slender configuration. Light weight and smooth with a pleasant feel to it. The finish is of a serious unique sort. Very fitting to a tool like this. About that feel; the risen letters in the middle of the grip tend to be hammered down and flattend out more than one should expect just after light use and a little bit of throwing around in the toolbox. I wonder if this is a telltale sign of the degree of hardness (or lack of) in the metal used in these products. There is also a little question mark regarding the straightness of the handle. On some of them I should add. They are not twisted, there's just a little angle or two, seen from the side. They are manually corrected after being stamped out in the manufacturing process but some seems to haste bay. Now, for example Hazet's are TOP-NOTCH products also, but the Stahlwille's got that feel and slenderness and a lower price tag. Make your own choice. The two German brands mentioned here truly deserves the proud label "MADE IN GERMANY". Well, this is about as far as my English skills can carry me.
