The STANDARD!
I've had my 5000 Accelerator for many years. All original parts and it still feels great...just bought another used one...same vintage...90s.
Built like a tank and super reliable! I very rarely have to adjust the spring tension or anything else. The Accelerator is not only quick but very sensitive to dynamic playing. Goes from quiet, controlled heel down technique to gonzo, full on stomping rock technique with no issues. Heel up, too! It takes a beating and stays where you set it!
Can't say enough good things! DW had been the standard pedal in the industry for years...for a very good reason! Even players who endorse different brands of drums continue to use DW pedals! I also use a DW hat stand as well. Same one for years! Great!

balls deluxe!
One of the greatest bands of any genre. Saw these guys on this tour. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Glad to have a memento from that tour, including the marvelous lineup of Metheny, Mays, Rodby and Wertico! Would love footage from Letter From Home tour but this floats my boat plenty!

Eureka
A unique film with nods to Citizen Kane. Rutger Hauer is brilliant...especially the closing scene. Gene Hackman's role is not as large a role as you would expect, dialogwise, but his presence is notable and his performance is great as always.
There is a lot here to grab ahold of, between strong performances, symbolism and beautiful and sometimes startling and shocking photography. Overall a worthwhile film that deserves (and may require) more than one viewing.
