Prevents tap movement in bathroom basin
A sure way to fix taps that move in the basin when you try and turn them on/off. We have basin taps which are connected to flexi hoses and as such the only thing that prevents the tap body itself from turning is the flat rubber washers and plastic backnut. This kit includes an insert (from above the sink) in the basin tap holes which provides a tight grip on the tap when it is pushed through the basin hole. There is a thick rubber washer and then a metal/brass washer which fit underneath the sink over the threaded part of the tap. Finally, you need to fit a locknut (not provided) - I fitted brass ones and not the plastic ones originally on the taps - these are readily available from the large DIY suppliers. Just got to be careful not to overtighten!
