Awesome
For a non brand product it works flawlessly and has been on my camera for the past year. I no longer us a remote cable because the wireless remote is fabulous. One of the very few nnon Nikon items in my kit.

Low price for a reason.
I am sure this is not an original Nikon product, despite the packaging. Causes a small icon to flash on the display. Nikon rep said that was because it was not genuine. That said, it looks and operates like the real deal so I kept it and no issues through the first year. You decide if its worth the risk. I wouldn`t take a chance on lens or camera, but a battery pack was worth it to me given what Nikon charges. I do object to the word genuine being used in the ad.

Easy replacement for original. 2 minutes to install and program. No issues.
