Great quick workout
I work out daily. I found this video to be great when you're short on time, or to add with some other workout elements for a good, quick, somewhat challenging workout. I did Level 1 once, and did have some mild soreness in my thighs the next day. The next time I bumped up to Level 2, and enjoyed the challenge of that one even more. You could do a level twice, or several levels back to back, if you want a longer, more intense workout, but I find that I want an efficient, challenging, quick workout so my day isn't spent entirely on working out, but adds to it. We're busy enough, people, without being slaves to the gym! I like how Jillian does more dynamic moves to create results efficiently, i.e. squats while doing v-flies, which works more areas at once, challenges your heart more, makes strength training double as cardio, and burns more calories. I like it. It's going in my video rotation, and I think will be a favorite.

Holy hoopin'!
For a beginning hooper, this does teach you some basics of how to get that hula hoop going, and keep going, to burn some calories and enjoy yourself. It's also a video to "grow" with as you get better at hooping. I noticed the gal has a smaller hoop than the exercise hoop sizes that are being suggested, but I think that, too, adds to the challenge as I get better--it's harder to hoop with a small hoop. This gal can sure hoop! She does a lot of things, like "dancing" while hooping, so it'll provide some fun as I get better. I enjoyed it, and I'll refer to it more and more the better I get. Good stuff:)

Wonderful Sewing Experience!
I previously had a Brother Innovis-40 that I really enjoyed, but wanted even more features and stitches. This Brother PC-420 ROCKS! I used to be a beginning- to- slightly- intermediate sewer, but with these two Brother machines I've had I am now intermediate, and spending so much time and enjoyment sewing that "advanced" is on the horizon. The Brother PC-420 has SO many stitches to choose from, and I have used several of them already in this first month of ownership. Some I would have considered a waste before, but the ease of use of this machine and the clear instructions in the user's manual make me feel as though any technique or stitch is manageable--and they are. I have even attempted, and enjoyed, free-motion quilting with the PC-420. The machine comes with almost all the feet you'd ever need for any type of project (and a nice storage compartment for them), and those you don't have are affordable enough to find someplace like eBay. Included is the zipper foot, zigzag foot, walking foot, darning/free-motion quilting foot, button-hole foot, monogramming foot, open-toe foot, overcast foot, blind-stitch foot, and probably some others I've forgotten--oh, and a foot you can actually sew a button ON with! Threading is a breeze (and I thought the Innovis-40 was easy). I love the "scissors" button to cut thread at the end of a stitch so you're not hunting for your real scissors. It's super quiet, ready to use right out of the box, and reading through the entire manual in an evening's sitting gets your creative juices flowing without overwhelming you! This will be easy to teach my daughter to sew on when she's older, especially with the speed control. So fun! Such a good machine. Even with all the features and choices, learning how to navigate through the menus and using the buttons is fairly straightforward, and again, easy to read in the manual. I would buy it again and again. I found no bad reviews anywhere about it, and with the features for the money, it's an awesome value. A friend has a Viking that has the same features, and I know she paid double what I paid for mine. I highly suggest this machine!
