Very poor item
Out of the box was just useless. The tyre valve adaptor didn't seal, the cap to brake reservoir was poor fit, the union of hose to cap leaked at 10 psi (no real seal at all), and the air restrictor valve didn't work. The union for hose to reservoir cap didn't even have a washer - just a flimsy rubber seal and nut. I had to replace all mentioned parts from an old kit to get a working system. Who is making this stuff ?? Does anyone test it ? Very annoying, but all too common now.

Cheap pump
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this item because it had good reviews, was 'heavy duty', single piston and was said to have fairly accurate gauge. In reality it's a cheap pump, very basic design, construction and cheap materials. This unfortunately seems to be industry standard now. My last (twin cylinder) pump was of yet poorer build, lasting around 11 months and 20 applications. Just hope this lasts longer. I'll apply for the extra warranty ! Nozzle is now plastic, not metal as shown on packaging. You loose around 2 psi when you release it from tyre valve. Gauge is reading + 2 to 4 psi. Why do they all read to 100 psi ? Maybe this is as good as pumps get now. I'd pay more for better....
