Loud ring
A loud ringing when the time is up is a prerequisite for a battery operated kitchen timer, especially when the cook (me) is darting about the house.
Not only does this timer have a loud ring, but it is simple to use and reliable over the month I have used it, as well as being amazingly cheap with no postal cost. It arrived within 20 days too.
So I am well pleased.

Very well engineered to ensure longevity and this DHP453 is a good example of the user satisfaction (and consequent rather high price) that this Makita commands.
As a bonus, this particular drill was in sparkling fist class condition and can be expected to give more years of service than I can look forward to.
