first impressions
The Titalium Padlock series are extremely light, so if you are looking for a bicycle or luggage padlock then they might suit you. Even simply as an object they are very well made and have that space age look about them. Security wise then they may be no worse or better than the current brass models, and certainly the 20mm ABUS brass padlock can be removed simply by twisting it off with a long screwdriver. If you are looking for security against casual theft, then obviously look at something bigger than this 30mm model.
ABUS as a brand produce reliable padlocks, and are probably worth the extra few pounds over the equivalent Chinese tat, but to be an actual deterrent you'd need to buy a 50mm hasp. At that point a thief will be looking at needing tools more capable than just a crowbar.
Buy it primarily for weight, brand and appearance.
