D'ADDARIO EXL170BT BALANCED TENSION BASS STRINGS, REG LIGHT GAUGE 4's - 45-107

These strings work well with a bass extender.

I have a 4 string bass, with a gotoh bass extender, that allows me to instantly drop the tension/pitch of my "E" string, to a "D". The .107" E string still feels firm at the lower tension, and combined with the .45", .60" & .80" strings, there doesn't seem to be a noticeable increase of tension on the neck truss rod.
