Auto siphon
I found this to work quite well. I added a stopcock to the end of the tube so I could control the flow of liquid into the bottles being filled. The supplied tubing was a bit kinked from being packed so I used my own which had the advantage of being a bit heaver.

Easy upgrade
Unfortunately I was unable to use the converter for the single socket in question as the square cable grips were not able to take the thicker multiple wires in the socket box securely. However it would be fine for a normal socket where I have used these without any problem before.
In general these converters are a good solution, it just happened I needed the type with the larger round cable grips.

A bit or reassurance.
I use Silver solution for spraying masks against Covid and other airborne nasties. I dry the masks before use. Silver cutlery was believed for centuries to help prevent food upsets so I hope spraying with collodal silver helps on the same principle to prevent disease spread, however I make no claims to the medical efficacy of Colloidal silver.
