Solid State is the way to go !!!!
My PC was taking forever to boot up but that is typical for an old Windows 7 Pro install is that it slows down over time with the "bloat" . I "Ghosted" my 250 gig 3.5" boot drive to this solid state drive and now time from "on" to password request is tremendously less than it was. Shut down as well is faster. A huge hard drive for storage and a solid state for rapid boot is all i need in a PC and with this drive i have it. I even made a "ghost" backup of the c: partition as a file on the d: drive---just in case it dies. So far so good and i am definitely satisfied with it

Dont expect SSD speeds
6 of 7 found this helpful I bought this hybrid drive anticipating a speed up from my Toshiba 7200 rpm drive. It was ranked 5.9 under Windows experience speed test. I cloned the drive ,installed it and ran it 2 days then re ran the Windows experience tool. It showed up as a 5.9. I have NOT noticed ANY speed increase as of yet.
It seems to be no faster than my 7200 spindle rpm Toshiba drive. I removed it and bought a true SSD drive and it is VERY noticable the speed increase. If you are looking for a noticeable speed increase spend the money on a true SSD drive.
