Good Christian Rock Album - Upbeat, but not too hard.
1 of 1 found this helpful Hey, if you're looking at DeGarmao and Key, you already know who they are! Great CD. I tend to prefer the older Christian Rock, so my favorite D&K albums are Communication and Mission of Mercy, but I believe I prefer this album over Commander Sozo. Not hard rockin', but upbeat for the most part - much more upbeat than, say, Mission of Mercy, but probably ever so slightly less "hard" than Commander Sozo. Many songs cover contemporary issues that young adults will face, but reminds them that Jesus is the answer. Hey, if you like D&K, you'll like this album!

Twists your reality (kind of like "The Matrix" does)
3 of 4 found this helpful What's with all the ebay feedbacks in the MOVIE REVIEW section!!!
This movie might start a little slow for some. Meeting the shy, awkward, almost embarrassing Nash leaves you wondering what you've gotten yourself into, but don't worry, this too shall pass. Without realizing it, you are slowly drawn into a world where reality and fantasy are blurred. Just when you think things are well established, you find his world falling apart, but even then, you keep wondering which parts are real, who's lying and what is fantasy. It draws you into the mind of a schizophrenic without realizing it.
It all works out in the end more or less (it IS a Ron Howard film after all), but it leaves you very empathetic with Nash no matter what you may think of him, initially. Braniacs will probably empathize with many of his emotions about achievement. And ladies, keep the tissues close at hand. (No, you don't have to be a braniac to enjoy the film.)

Excellent family entertainment. Full Screen only.

Comments on Screen Format:
Note that this is a full frame version. There is some disagreement among movie fans as to whether the original was widescreen or full screen. Basically, from what I've gathered, it was shot in a Full frame format, then the movie was matted with the black bars at the top and bottom (or rather, to a panavision-type format) during post-production, then was shown in widescreen at the movies. Rest assured that you have ALL of the movie (and then some) in the full frame version. If you want, set your widescreen TV to it's expand mode where it fills the screen left to right, but chops off the top and bottom (to maintain proper aspect), and you should be close to the original widescreen version. Of course, the director may have wanted to show more upper screen or lower screen, but at least you'll be most of the way there.
