Technicolour at its best in 1953
1 of 1 found this helpful This DVD is not easy to find and is clearly reproduced from the official film that was made 60 years ago but the quality is not compromised in any way; it is for example twice as good as the PAL version I have recorded for the TV. Without doubt a classic. The narrative written by Christopher Fry and delivered by Lawrence Olivier is just brilliant just listen carefully to the words and music to take you back to more pleasant times. Get yourself a copy and play it on the 2 June this year the 60th anniversary and every year on 2 June, there is much to enjoy and celebrate.
