It does what it says on the tin.
This is an amazing piece of kit. My remote was still in good physical shape but over 20 years old. Several of the buttons were becoming less and less responsive and I was having to resort to heavier-handed means to make them work. This in turn was probably making things even worse. Trying to buy a second-hand remote on line proved to be very difficult as sellers often wish to sell you anything in order to make a buck. The one I bought used the photograph of a different remote and it arrived in an awful state. I spotted this repair kit while searching for a replacement. At the price, it was well worth a punt and I must admit that I was sceptical.
It arrived in super fast time from the States. Instructions are clear and pretty simple but they do need to be followed. Just 5-10 minutes (plus drying time) and Hey Presto, I now have an 'as good as new', fully functioning remote control. Top marks for an outwardly simple solution but an absolute genius idea.

Ticks Every Box
I searched and searched. Not only did this stacked unit have the largest shelves I could find, both wide and deep, but also those shelves enjoy good height clearance. Furthermore it has the rarity of 5 levels. I think that all others I came across had 4. It is absolutely perfect for my hi-fi needs. The 3 mid-level shelves are also adjustable both up or down by about 5cm, making it even more adaptable to personal requirements. I chose the oak veneer which is not only fantastic quality but gives an excellent contrast with the smart, black glass. All of the components are well engineered and give a near effortless construct. Finally, cable management at the rear keeps those hated wires out of sight. I dreaded my need for an upgrade, having added more components to my system but I could not be happier. I have consolidated my larger set-up and saved floor-space in the bargain. 5 stars indeed.

Lovely....
Lovely film with this lovely soundtrack. A sometimes odd mix of old and new but it works.
